Drip type bio-filter is kind of water treating equipment for the breeding of nitrobateria by dropping the water through the filter. As we know, ammonia removal is one of the difficulties in the water treatment section. More feasible solution is remove by biochemical filtration. The advantages of biochemical filtration are stable, longer period, just suitable for recirculating water. The way drop type biochemical filter works is drop the untreated water through multiple layers of the filtration media, to make it largely contact with the media. Uses the porous feature of the media to breed biological bateria, therefore decomposed the ammonia into nontoxic nitrate or nitrogen.
